We visited Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary School today! They were chosen through Subaru Loves Learning and AdoptAClassroom.org as our partner school this year. We donated $500 to a handful of teachers at Cedarcrest. Thank you to the faculty for allowing us to visit some classrooms. We had the privilege of donating $18,000 to the Folds of Honor Organization. Here at Subaru of Baton Rouge, Folds of Honor is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. We had a great turn out for our Grand Re-Opening. The car show was great and brought out a large crowd of Subaru Lovers. They enjoyed looking at the rally car. Second Chance Hope had a great day as well. They had one adoption and 2 pre-approvals for adoption. We are so excited we could have them at our grand opening and hope we can do it again. The food was AMAZING. We served 250 plates of Jambalaya and 175 Hamburgers at the event. Thank you everyone who came out and supported this awesome event.
We were so excited to be back at the Mystic Krewe of Mutts Parade Downtown. It was a great turn out and we love supporting CAAWS. We handed out a bunch of Subaru Goodies. We were also able to be a part of the parade this year! Thank you to everyone who came out.
Subaru of Baton Rouge partners with CAAWS. In January we raised money for CAAWS to be used for there Heart Worm treatment. Subaru has attended many CAAWS events Krewe of Mutts, CAAWS Kissing Booth, and CAAWS open house. We also post CAAWS adoptable dogs weekly on our Facebook page. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CAAWS.
We sponsored the water station at the Footprints Forever Half Marathon on March 27, 2022. We enjoyed seeing everyone come out and help support this awesome foundation. Their mission is to help families who have experienced miscarriages, stillbirths or the loss of an infant.
Subaru of Baton Rouge is teaming up with Subaru of America to aid in Feeding America. We're excited to announce we will be donating an additional 30,000 meals to our local food banks!
We are excited to be a part of the Cap City Beer Fest this year. This awesome event helps to support our local animal shelter. The 2021 Cap City Beer Fest is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 7th, in Downtown Baton Rouge. The dog-friendly beer tasting event is a benefit for Companion Animal Alliance, our parish animal shelter. Drink Beer. Save Animals.
This event will take place at BREC's Forest Community Park. We are teaming up with BREC for Trick & Treat Dog Costume Contest and Art Unleashed presented by Pet Suites! Bring your four-legged friends and families to a Friday night for some fang-tastic fun, free for all ages and breeds! Enjoy live music, local art and makers, dog adoptions, local pet vendors, food, art, kids' activities and of course the infamous Halloween dog costume contest.
The CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts parade is going to look a little different this year, but we are still on! Registration is open until January 31, 2021. Participants will send in a video and we will have a virtual parade complete for you on Fabruary 13, 2021.

The entire month of October Subaru celebrates "Subaru Loves Pets". We will be hosting a virtual pet adoption all month long. Please follow our Facebook Page for our featured adoptable animals. Here at Subaru of Baton Rouge we pull for the underdog. We helped CAA get 190 dogs adopted during the month of October! Thank you for your help!
Subaru of Baton Rouge teamed up with Companion Animal Alliance for the entire month of October. We donated $100 to Companion Animal Alliance for every dog adopted during the month of October. Our goal is to have one dog adopted a day for a total of 31 dogs adopted during October. We are still waiting on the total number of adopted pets. We will keep you posted.
We donated blankets and socks to the local Baton Rouge homeless shelter.

Activities will include a Drive-thru egg hunt trail, character visits, music, food vendors, giveaways and more.
Get your costumes ready! Come out and enjoy a day filled with family friendly entertainment as BREC hosts Full Moon Fete - Movie in the Park. This all-day event will feature 5 popular Halloween themed movies the entire family will enjoy. This event includes a DRIVE THRU TRICK OR TREAT TRAIL (one hour prior to the start of movie), CHARACTER VISITS, FOOD VENDORS, MUSIC, GIVE-A-WAYS, a COSTUME CONTEST and MORE! Drive in Slots (Limited) or walk up. This event is free and open to all ages.
During the month of August we will be partnering with AdoptAClassroom.org to give teachers a hand, this year the teacher chosen was Pecan Grove Elementary's very own Ms. Lemoine!! Throughout the month of August, we will be accepting donations of school supplies for Ms. Lemoine and her 3rd graders!
